There are delays on some of Kent’s roads after a crash on the M25 resulted in motorists having to take a long diversion.
A crash in Surrey meant there is now a diversion route in place sending drivers towards the Dartford crossing via Westerham, Brasted and Sundridge.
The two-vehicle crash has meant the M25 is closed anticlockwise from Junction 6 to Junction 5 and traffic is now queuing towards Kent.
Motorists should take the diversion route from Junction 6 via the A22, then go to the A25 through Limpsfield, Oxted, Westerham, Brasted and Sundridge before re-joining the M25 at the Dartford Crossing.
There is congestion to just before Junction 7 of the M25 with delays through Limpsfield, Oxted, Westerham, Brasted and Sundridge as traffic diverts.
The road was shut at about 4pm and remains closed anti-clockwise for ongoing investigation work.
The clockwise side has reopened but there are still delays.
