Man accused of sexual assaults in Sevenoaks extradited from Romania

A former Sevenoaks man has been extradited from Romania to face several charges of sexual assault.

Petru Seduc, 47, now of no fixed address, was escorted onto an aeroplane by Kent Police officers in Bucharest and returned to the UK on Tuesday.

He appeared before Medway Magistrates' Court earlier today, charged with five counts of sexual assault committed against women in the Wrotham Heath area of Sevenoaks between December 2018 and January 2019.

Seduc has also been charged with one count of witness intimidation by allegedly sending threatening text messages.

He was remanded in custody and will next appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Wednesday, February 5.
