Man in court after stabbing in Betenson Avenue, Sevenoaks

A man has appeared in court after another man was stabbed.

The victim, who is in his 30s, was found on Betenson Avenue, Sevenoaks, on Tuesday at around 11.55pm with a series of cuts to his upper body.

He was treated by ambulance crews and later air lifted to a hospital in London where he has since been discharged.

There were also reports that four vehicles were damaged near the incident.

It is understood that the victim knew his attacker.

Grant Flowers, of Betenson Avenue, Sevenoaks was later charged with affray and possession of a knife in a public place.

The 40-year-old was remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court today.
