The brothers, who have been described as "angels" online, once starred in the Channel 4 series My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding alongside the Celebrity Big Brother winner and former bare-knuckle boxer.

Paddy, 60, has shared a video on social media asking for his followers to pray for their family.

He said: "God bless their souls, it's a terrible tragedy.

"Will you pray for the boys family, the boys mother and father, for them to get strong and get through this. I am very very sorry for their troubles at the start of the New Year as well.

"If anyone is watching this pray for their families who have been left behind and may God be good to them and look after them."

Kent Police was called out to Dibden Lane at around 11am on Saturday morning.

The bodies of the brothers were found by a tree down the narrow country lane.

Speaking to The Telegraph, the twins' cousin Phoebe Charleen Smith said: “Joey had cancer, and Billy told him.'I’d never be able to live without you.'

“Joey told the family he got the all-clear after chemo two months ago, but we don’t know if that’s true now.

“They went missing, and Joey’s phone was turned off. Then we found a note. It said that they wanted it like this, and we would find them in the woods where they played with the family years ago. My uncle ran up there and found them.”

Posting on Facebook, Billy's partner Kristina Delaney said: "I’m gonna make you so so proud. You’re my happiness, my whole life.

"My heart aches for you my bill you knew I loved you and I knew you loved me. Always called me beautiful, loved me more on my worst days.

"Why leave me so soon I could have done so much more.

"Never even got to have my babies with you you would have been the best daddy."
