Westerham: Police release CCTV still as part of antique theft investigation

Police have released CCTV after a thief smashed a display cabinet at an antiques shop and swiped items.

It is alleged that at around 1pm on Tuesday a man went into the store in High Street, Brasted, and used a hammer to break into the cabinet.

He then snatched a number of items and fled the scene on a bicycle.

He was white, of medium build, around 6ft and aged in his 40s or 50s.

He was wearing yellow gloves and a fluorescent yellow tabard, with the words Daniel Owen Work Masters printed on it.

The man also wore a black jacket with red sleeves, black glasses and a beige baseball cap.
