Sevenoaks: Bill's restaurant will open in Border Tex Mex site

A popular restaurant is set to move into the site of a former sports bar in Sevenoaks.

Bill's Restaurant was rumoured to be replacing Border Tex Mex earlier this year, but in July the company told the KM that plans had been pulled.

However, the restaurant chain has now submitted a licensing application to Sevenoaks District Council.

It outlines plans to sell alcohol in the London Road site from 10am to midnight and play music from 8am to midnight.

It is not yet known when the popular eatery is due to open.

Members of the public have until Friday, October 9 to object to the licensing application.

Border Tex Mex announced it was due to shut earlier this year, with owners citing lack of business as one of the main reasons.

Bill's, which has three other branches in Bluewater, Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone, has been approached for comment.
