Joie de Vivre is best dressed window in Sevenoaks

The winners of the Sevenoaks Town Council best dressed window competition have been announced.

Run jointly by the district council and the chamber of commerce, this year's competition for the first time included bit a retail and non-retail section.

Cllr Roderick Hogarth, the Mayor of Sevenoaks, and Nick Brooder, chairman of the Sevenoaks Chamber of Commerce, declared the winners to be: retail category winner Joie De Vivre, runner- up Chinaman.

Non-retail category winner Dulce’s Patisserie, runner -up Jo & Co (Hollybush)

The Mayor said: “I am very pleased to see four successful independent businesses giving shoppers extra Christmas enjoyment by their imaginative festive window designs.

"It was very difficult task to choose from all the town’s delightful displays”.

The winners each received a bottle of prosecco from the chamber of commerce and a free month of advertisements from the town council on the screens at train stations plus a framed certificate to display in their premises.
