Three people have been arrested over a suspected burglary at a computer repair shop.
Kent Police was called at 7.30pm on Sunday when it is alleged the suspects smashed a window of a store in Edenbridge High Street, before entering and stealing a number of items including a cash till and a computer.
Patrols swiftly attended and searched the area, before the suspects were reported to have then moved to a location close to Edenbridge Leisure Centre. Two were subsequently located in Stangrove Park, where they were arrested.
The third suspect is reported to have run from officers but was caught shortly after and also arrested.
Alfred Smith, aged 36 and of no fixed address and Jack Smith, aged 39 of Union Row, Margate, were subsequently charged with burglary. They were remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 7 August. A woman aged in her 20s, was released without charge.
