Sevenoaks Town's FA Cup tie against CB Hounslow United abandoned at half-time after 'alleged matter'

Sevenoaks Town's FA Cup Preliminary Round tie against CB Hounslow United was abandoned at half-time on Saturday.

Full details of the incident are yet to be confirmed but Sevenoaks confirmed they were investigating an 'alleged matter' with at least three posts on Twitter claiming it was due to 'racism' from a supporter.

Sevenoaks said: "Today’s game has been abandoned. We are investigating an alleged matter and no further comment will be made until this process has been concluded."

The home side were on course for the next round as they dominated the opening 45 minutes after their Combined Counties League opponents.

Goals from Kyle De Silva and Tyrell Richardson-Brown puts Sevenoaks 2-0 up inside 18 minutes. They added a third goal through James Bessey-Sakdana nine minutes before the break - only for CB Hounslow not to emerge at the start of the second half.
