A biker has been taken to hospital after a crash involving a motorbike and a van.

Emergency services were called to a collision in Halfway Road, Sheerness shortly before 4pm today (June 26).

Police sealed off the route while they responded to the incident.

A spokesperson said: “Officers attended and the motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital for treatment.”

The route was closed briefly but has since reopened.
