Boy, 5, critical after crash with Honda Jazz in Jefferson Road, Sheerness

A five-year-old boy is critical in hospital after a crash on Easter Sunday afternoon.

The youngster was injured after the crash with a black Honda Jazz in Jefferson Road, Sheerness, at around 3.45pm on Sunday.

He was flown to a London hospital for treatment, where he remains in a critical but stable condition.

Now police are appealing for witnesses to the accident.

Detective Sergeant Scott Lynch from the Kent Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: 'It was a fine, dry afternoon and many local residents were outside so we believe quite a few people may have witnessed this incident.
