Sheerness High Street closed after car incident

By KentOnline reporter

An elderly man has been rescued via the windscreen of an overturned car.

He was initially treated at the scene of the crash, which blocked Sheerness High Street in both directions.

It is understood a silver Ford was heading towards the town centre when he clipped a parked black Audi causing his vehicle to flip on its side, trapping him inside.
