A teenage girl was taken to hospital after a car overturned and ended up in a ditch.

A Renault Clio and a Vauxhall Corsa were involved in a collision in Halfway Road, Sheerness, at 3.30pm on Sunday.

The Clio overturned into a ditch near Stonnes Family Centre.

The Corsa was blocking the road slightly but vehicles could still get past and the road was not closed.

Police and paramedics were called and two people, including a 16-year-old girl with cuts to her face, were taken to Medway Maritime Hospital.
