CCTV image released after robbery in Minster, Sheppey

A CCTV image has been released after a man was forced to drive to a cul-de-sac and tied to a steering wheel in Minster.

Officers say the victim, a man in his 60s, was driving down The Broadway when he was approached by another man who made him drive to a cul-de-sac near Kent Avenue.

Cash was stolen and the victim’s hands were tied to the steering wheel of the car before the offender left in the direction of Kent Avenue.

The victim was not injured.

It happened at about 11am on Monday last week.
