Your comprehensive guide to firework displays in Sittingbourne and on Sheppey 2017

There’s plenty going on this Bonfire night in Sittingbourne and on Sheppey.

Here are just a few of the many events planned:

  • Minster Primary School in Brecon Chase is hosting its seventh annual fireworks event this Friday, November 3. It starts at 6pm. Tickets £4 in advance or £5 on the gate. There are discounts for children. Family tickets at £10 are available in advance from the school office or via minsterschoolpta@aol.co.uk.

  • The Co-op Club in St George's Avenue is holding its Sheerness Fireworks Display on Friday, November 3. Entry £3 for non-members and free for members. Attractions include a bonfire, funfair, bar and bouncy castles. Gates open 6.30pm, fireworks at 8.15pm.
  • Sheppey Rugby Club are having their annual bonfire and firework night on Saturday, November 4. Gates open at the Lower Road, Minster, club from 6pm and tickets cost £5 each, or £10 per car, with under-threes going free.

  • Doddington’s Palace Farm will host an annual fireworks extravaganza from 5.30pm on Saturday, November 4. The farm’s campsite in Down Court Road (ME9 0AU) will have a bonfire. There will also be a bar, hot food and free car parking. Entry £6 adults and £2 children, under-fives free.
  • Upchurch Scouts are hosting a bonfire extravaganza. It will be on Saturday, November 4 from 5pm at Westmoor Farm (ME8 8QF). Tickets are £7 for adults, children £5 and a family ticket is £20.

  • Regis Manor Primary School in Middletune Avenue will light up the sky on Friday, November 10. Gates open at 5.30pm, with the bonfire being lit at 7pm and fireworks starting at 7.15pm. Tickets are £6 for adults and £5 for children on the gate.
  • Teynham Primary School in Station Road is holding a night of firework fun on Saturday, November 11, from 6.15pm and tickets are £6 for adults and £2.50 for children.
