Sheppey Rugby Club suffered a weekend of cup disappointment.

They crashed out of the Junior Vase in the fourth round after a 24-0 defeat at Sussex side Uckfield on Saturday.

They then went down 27-19 to Dartfordians in the Kent Cup at the Ditch - improving slightly on the 46-0 drubbing handed out by their Kent 1 rivals in the league in their final game before Christmas.

Sheppey return to league action with a trip to fellow strugglers Ashford on Saturday.
