Cow rescued by firefighters in Minster

Fire crews were brought in to rescue a cow that got stuck in a ditch filled with water in Minster.

They used a special harness to winch the animal out and to safety.

It happened near Power Station Road.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service has its own dedicated animal rescue team, based in Faversham, that has access to equipment such as pet oxygen masks.
