The picture shows flames which appear to have engulfed pallets stacked near loading bays.

Crews were called to the fire shortly after midday today (May 9) and left the scene around 2.30pm.

At the height of the fire, five engines and a bulk water were present.

When a KentOnline reporter visited the scene at 2pm the fire was out and operations appeared to be back up and running.

A fire service spokesperson said in an update at 3.15pm: “There are no reports of injury and the cause is currently unknown.”

Meanwhile, a member of staff who did not want to be named said: “It was raging around the back end of the building on the side closest to the A249.

“The fire service was here within minutes.

“We were sent to our fire assembly points.

“I don't know what caused it but it could have just been the heat or a reflection of a glass.

“Things went back to normal pretty quickly.”

During the fire, there were social media reports of traffic backing up from the Neats Court roundabout.

This was due to lorries being unable to enter the depot. By 2pm, around a dozen lorries were queuing outside but were not causing traffic issues.
