Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to following a distraction burglary.

Officers are investigating a report that a man made an unsolicited offer to do some gardening for a woman in Worcester Close, Minster.

The victim, who is in her 70s, agreed to pay a small fee in exchange for the work on Wednesday, March 27, however, it was not completed.

While the occupant was distracted, a quantity of cash is reported to have been stolen from her purse.

Officers are now appealing for information to help identify the man in the photograph.
