Man arrested on suspicion of drink driving after crash in Sheerness

A 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a single-car crash in Sheerness.

Kent Police Swale tweeted in the early hours of this morning that they had arrested a driver in Brielle Way.

They said the car had rolled. It happened near the start of the 30mph speed limit just after 12.30am.

A police spokesman said: "Officers were called to a single vehicle collision in Brielle Way, Sheerness, at 12.34am on Friday.

"Officers attended, as did crews from the South East Coast Ambulance Service."

The man, from Sheerness, remains in custody.
