Man with taser arrested in Sheerness

A man has been arrested for reportedly carrying a taser after police were called to a domestic incident.

Officers arrived at Wellesley Road in Sheerness shortly before 6pm yesterday where a man in his 40s was alleged to be making threats.

They arrested him on suspicion of possessing a prohibited weapon.

He remains in custody.
