Milton & Fulston celebrate their cup victory

A last-gasp goal from Scott Teague was enough to secure the Senior Cup for Milton & Fulston at Sittingbourne FC on Sunday.

White Horse were trying to redeem themselves after narrowly losing out to Red Lion in the Rose Bowl Final.

Both sides cancelled each other out in a midfield battle and when chances did come they were foiled by the goalkeepers or fired wide.

Milton finally took the lead through Tom Bryant after White Horse failed to clear a corner. Milton lost Lijah Tucker soon after through injury while Steve Collar needed repeated treatment for White Horse.

White Horse levelled from the spot through Ricky Baverstock seven minutes from time, but as the teams prepared for extra-time, Scott Teague popped up to bang home the winner.

Horse thought they had levelled in injury time but a linesman’s flag ruled out the goal.

Brendon Lillis bagged five and Luke Rowland added a hat-trick as Castle Tavern smashed eight past Park Tavern with no reply in the Junior Charity Cup Final last Wednesday (15th).

White Colts Athletic romped to a 7-0 win over struggling Ypres Tavern in Division 1.

Alex Sammy grabbed a brace and Ashley Taylor, Craig Whalin, Daniel Hodgson, Joe Blundon and Zak Reeves completed the rout.
