Police are hunting for a man wanted in connection with a violent incident, but are warning people not to go near him.

Met Police UK issued a tweet saying officers were searching for Christopher Abnett, 31, who is believed to have links with the Isle of Sheppey.

They said he is wanted in connection with a violent incident in Woolwich in the early hours of today.

He is also known to frequent Charlton.

Police said if seen, he should not be approached.

Instead, call 999 and quote CAD 1692/11 Nov.
