A road was shut this morning after a man in his 20s was found dead.

Police were called to the A249 Brielle Way in Queenborough this morning to “concerns for the welfare of a person”.

The road was shut in both directions between Queenborough Road and Whiteway Road from around 6.10am.

Paramedics also attended the scene where a man in his 20s was confirmed to be deceased.

His next of kin have been informed.

The death is being treated as non-suspicious and a report is being completed for the coroner.

The road reopened at around midday.
