People were being warned to close their windows and doors as crews battled a wildfire.
Four fire engines were at the scene of the blaze in Shellness Road, Leysdown, last night.
Emergency responders were called to reports of grass alight in a field at around 7.30pm.
An all-terrain vehicle was also in attendance and crews used a fogging unit to extinguish the flames.
There were no reported injuries, and the cause is currently unknown.
At the time, people living in the area of Leysdown were being advised to close their windows and doors.
