Chequers Road in Minster closed after crash outside St George's Primary School

A road has reopened after a crash near a school.

Two vehicles collided outside St George's Primary School in Minster-on-Sea at around 7.30am.

The B2008 was shut between Oak Lane and Scocles Road while emergency services dealt with the incident, but reopened just after 9am.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 7.27am on Tuesday 6 March following a collision between two cars in Chequers Road, Minster on Sea.

"Officers attended. No injuries have been reported. The road was initially closed while one of the vehicles was recovered."
