Sheppey United FC physiotherapist Alex Armstrong 'may have saved life' of fan at match in Chatham

A heroic soccer physiotherapist is thought to have saved the life of a fan who fell ill at a match.

Alex Armstrong, of Sheppey United FC, rushed to aid the supporter just after full-time at the game at Lordswood, Chatham, yesterday.

A tweet from Sheppey United yesterday said: "Today’s Man of the Match is our physio Alex Armstrong who superbly assisted a loyal Sheppey supporter who was taken ill just after full-time.

"The care received before the ambulance service arrived may just have saved their life."
