Millions of fans will tune in tonight to watch England's heroes take on Italy in the men's team's first major final since 1966.

Kick-off is at 8pm but people will be gathering hours ahead of the match to settle the nerves and sing some tunes from Three Lions, World In Motion and Sweet Caroline.

Gareth Southgate's men have captured the heart of a nation after a historic win against Germany, a rousing thumping versus Ukraine and a nail-biting encounter with Denmark which needed an extra-time goal from Harry Kane to put England through.

Some schools and businesses across the county have told workers and parents they can come in later on Monday, despite the result, to avoid any grumpy youngsters and employees.

Swale residents, from pooches, pups, children and grown-ups have sent in some patriotic pictures to show their spirit.

So, is this the day that football comes home for the first time in five decades?

COME ON ENGLAND!
