Teenager arrested after car overturns in Minster crash

A 16-year-old was arrested after a car overturned in a crash in Eastchurch near Minster last night.

Police were called by paramedics to reports of a single car crash in Lower Road at 11.43pm.

On arrival, the teenager was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and driving without a licence or insurance.

He remains in custody officers carry out inquiries.

A tweet from the team in Swale said: "Following a one vehicle RTC in Minster last night, the driver has found himself settling into our custody suite after providing a breath reading of just under 3 times the legal limit to LPT3 officers at the roadside. #YouCantParkThereSir."
