Men from Eastchurch, Sheppey, and Borden, near Sittingbourne, due in court after holiday park disturbance

Two men are due to appear before a judge after police were called to a disturbance at a holiday park.

Officers were sent to a caravan park in Warden Road, Eastchurch, at about 1.40pm on Tuesday, June 16, where they arrested two people and another person was found injured.

Medics took the patient, a man in his 60s who had injuries consistent with being beaten, to hospital before he was later discharged.

Oliver Taylor, of Warden Road, Eastchurch, was charged with assault, affray and wounding with intent.

The 23-year-old appeared in front of Medway magistrates on Thursday, June 18, and was remanded in custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Thursday, July 16.

A 21-year-old man from Sittingbourne, also arrested, was released and bailed until Thursday, July 9.

Jason Taylor, of Mountview, Borden, who was also later arrested appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court on Monday, June 22, charged with affray and wounding with intent.

The 49-year-old was remanded in custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on the same day as Oliver.
