Dashcam footage captures late night brawl outside McDonald's in Sheerness

Footage has emerged of a violent fight that broke out between two sparring couples in a McDonald's car park.

In the video two men can be seen having an argument under the glow of the famous golden arches before trading blows.

The incident is reported to have taken place outside the fast food restaurant in Bridge Street, Sheerness.

It was taken by a customer, who wishes to remain anonymous, who captured the two-and-half long minute fight on his car's dashcam at around 7.20pm last night.

He said: "All I wanted was a burger but I got a boxing match as well".

An extended version of the clip appears to show one woman shouting at a man in a tracksuit holding a dog.

She then attempts to kick the animal before taking off her shoe and hitting the hound which had begun to bark at her.

The dog's handler then takes the pooch back to his car before a fight ensues between him and a second man, who appears in defence of the woman.

He is then thrown to the ground before a second woman takes the dog back out of the car and the fight escalates between the four brawlers.

Meanwhile, a spectator, who appears to be eating a McFlurry, watches on.

The first woman is then hit to the ground and the two men begin a boxing match in the middle of the car park.

As the first woman attempts to stand up the second woman punches her back to the ground, before the four of them walk out of view.

Police confirmed officers were called to the scene at 7.21pm to a report of an assault in a car park, where two men and two women were reported to have been involved in an altercation.

A spokesman said: "Officers attended the area and spoke to two people involved. Injuries were reported.
