An air ambulance has landed at a playing field.
The paramedics touched down in Rectory Park, near Commonwealth Close in Sittingbourne, around 10.05am today (Tuesday).
It left the scene at around 11am.
An ambulance service spokeswoman said paramedics were called to Ambleside, near Woodberry Drive, at 9.40am to reports of a person in need of medical attention.
She added: “Multiple crews, and a Critical Care Paramedic attended the scene and assessed and treated one patient before being joined by the air ambulance.
“The patient was then taken by road to Medway Maritime Hospital for further medical treatment.”
Kent Police confirmed no officers were sent in response to the emergency.
