Appeal after theft of mobility scooters

POLICE are appealing for information following the theft of two mobility scooters.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, June 21, at a shelter in Woodstock Road, Sittingbourne. Police say the motorised scooters are thought to cost around £700 each.

A scooter was later recovered by a police officer in Borden Lane, Sittingbourne. Enquiries are ongoing to establish if it is one of the two stolen.
