A bus driver was injured after a passenger allegedly smashed a window to get off.

The incident took place in London Road, Sittingbourne, at around 4.45pm on Tuesday, while the vehicle was waiting at traffic lights.

A suspect tried to get off the bus, and when the driver refused, a window was allegedly smashed.

The driver received multiple cuts from shards of glass.

An investigation is underway, and officers have issued an image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.
