Kent High Sheriff, George Jessel, donates chickens to Westlands School farm

The Queen's representative in Kent has donated chickens to a school farm which was hit by a winter break-in.

The county's High Sheriff, George Jessel, gifted the farm at Westlands school, Sittingbourne, eight of the animals after several were killed during a break-in.

It has been described as "an act of kindness" by the school.
