Child hit by car in Kemsley, near Sittingbourne

A child has been hit by a car in Kemsley, near Sittingbourne.

Police and ambulance services were called to Grovehurst Road this afternoon.

The ambulance was called to the scene.

The child suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene after the incident which happened at about 3.50pm.

Grovehurst Road was partially blocked in both directions from Newman Drive to Sandstone Drive, while the emergency services dealt with the incident.

The road has since reopened.
