Traffic is easing on the M2 following a crash involving three vehicles.
The incident was reported between junction 5 for Sittingbourne and junction 6 for Faversham shortly before 12.30pm.
National Highways says its traffic officers are at the scene where there was five miles of congestion.
A lane has since re-opened coastbound but there is currently up to an extra hour to normal travel times.
Kent Police has confirmed the crash involved two cars and a van, although no injuries were reported.
A lane closure is currently in place which is being managed by National Highways.
