An estate agent said the 24,227 sq ft surfaced piece of land is “securely fenced and gated”.

It was listed online by chartered surveyors Watson Day on Monday (March 10).

They added: “We are advised there is electricity, water supply and drainage on site.

“The site would lend itself to open storage uses, car rental or other clean open storage uses.”

Existing offices and portable cabins are not included in the offer, with pictures showing that most of the cars have already been removed.

“We have decided to condense our business to our Bobbing site where we have our preparation centre and room for 150 used cars," he said.

“I am 80 this year and decided to step back a bit as the longest-serving motor trader in England. I will reach 65 years in the trade this November.”
