Traffic now moving again after five car crash on M2 between Sittingbourne and Faversham

Traffic is now moving after it was at a standstill on the M2 after a crash involving five cars.

The collision happened between junction 5 for Sittingbourne and junction 6 for Faversham at around 6pm.

Motorists travelling along the coastbound carriageway were stopped temporarily by Highways Officers.

The crash is said to be midway between the two junctions.

It is not thought anyone was seriously injured, but traffic is now moving freely again.
