POLICE are appealing for information after an eight-year-old girl witnessed a man performing an indecent act in a Kent cemetery.

The girl was walking through the graveyard in Bell Road, Sittingbourne, when she saw the man.

He is described as bring white, aged between 30 and 35, with short brown hair. He was also wearing square-rimmed glasses.

Anyone with information about this incident, which took place between 2.30pm and 3.25pm on Wednesday, August 30, is asked to contact police on 01795 419186 or Kent Crimestoppers in 0800 555111.
