Masked burglars raid South Green, Sittingbourne home and threaten grandmother with screwdriver

Masked burglars threatened a grandmother with screwdrivers during a raid.

Police are urging witnesses to come forward after three men stormed into a home in South Green, Sittingbourne.

The group, one of whom had a foreign accent, entered a house holding screwdrivers at around 8pm on Friday.

Afton Dilks' mum and nan were threatened during the raid, she said: "Mum got burgled last night ME9 area Sittingbourne.

"Held a screw driver to my mum’s throat and to my nan’s back. Three white men with eastern European accents. Any information will be very much appreciated."

They left the scene with cash and jewellery.

The men are described as wearing balaclavas, dark jackets and jeans.
