Morrisons in Mill Way in Sittingbourne expands its online shopping services creating 45 jobs

Forty-five jobs are up for grabs after a supermarket expanded its online shopping services.

The store in Mill Way, Sittingbourne, will offer both full-time and part-time positions, including home delivery drivers, as well as online roles for team leaders and customer assistants.

Morrisons director of online Charlotte Exell said: “We look forward to serving the community of Sittingbourne and are delighted to welcome over 45 new colleagues to our team.”

The expansion means customers can now order a wider range of products including Market Street fresh food favourites from British suppliers, such as freshly baked goods and pizzas prepared in-store.

Charlotte said: “We’re continuing to grow our online services and we are very excited to be expanding the range of Market Street products our online customers can choose from in Sittingbourne.”

Customers can also buy party food via the new Food to Order service either as a one-off purchase or alongside their weekly shop.

Orders can be delivered either on the same day, or people can select a slot for delivery in the coming four weeks or Click & Collect.
