Pedestrian hit by car in Bell Road, Sittingbourne

A pedestrian has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Sittingbourne.

It happened in Bell Road at around 4.45pm.

A police spokesman said: "Officers attended the scene with South East Coast Ambulance Service and the pedestrian was taken to hospital for injuries that are not believed to be serious."
