People were left without water for almost 12 hours after a pipe burst.

Those living in the ME9 area had been left with very low pressure or no water since around midnight.

Southern Water workers were on site trying to get the issue resolved.

Residents in the area confirmed their water returned at about 11am.

It also caused long delays on the A2 London Road before Playstool Road and there is congestion back to Sittingbourne.
