A prison officer has been charged after allegedly having sex with two inmates during her time working at a high-security jail.
Isabelle Dale, 23, is also accused of scheming to smuggle drugs into HMP Swaleside on Sheppey alongside another prison guard and one of her jailed lovers, Shahid Sharif, 33.
She is said to have had a second love interest, Connor Money from Dartford, who was jailed for nine years after causing the death of a young father after crashing his BMW 5-series while speeding at more than 140mph on the M2.
The relationships are thought to have taken place between September 2021 and the end of 2022.
Dale, from Portsmouth, appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court in London yesterday (April 28) and is charged with two counts of misconduct in public office.
In both counts, she is accused of having “an inappropriate sexual relationship with a service prisoner” – with Money in the first instance, and Sharif in the second.
She is also charged with conspiring to “bring, throw or convey” drugs in Swaleside.
Her alleged accomplice, Lilea Sallis who lives in Brighton, was also charged with helping Dale smuggle the drugs into the jail for Sharif when she appeared at the London court.
The 27-year-old is charged with one count of conspiring with Dale and Sharif and others unknown to get drugs into the prison between September 2021 and December 2022.
Neither man faces any charges for their alleged relationships.
Sharif is charged with the same drugs conspiracy, and with having a mobile phone in his cells in both Brixton prison in London and Swaleside over the same period.
He appeared in court via a video link from Manchester prison.
Judge Adrian Turner allowed both Dale and Sallis to remain on bail on the condition that they do not communicate with each other or Sharif, who remains inside.
None of the trio entered a plea, but all are due at a hearing at Inner London Crown Court on May 23.
