A static caravan and large vehicle have been torched at a car breakers near Sittingbourne.

Firefighters were called to reports of a fire at Bobbing Car Breakers in Sheppey Way just after 2.30pm today.

Four fire engines were sent to the scene and crews arrived to find the vehicles well alight.

Crews used hose reel jets, a main jet and water from a hydrant to tackle the blaze.

The exact cause is yet to be established, but is believed to have started accidentally in the caravan before spreading to the second vehicle.

No casualties have been reported.
