Sittingbourne missed a series of chances as they lost 1-0 at Walton & Hersham in Ryman League Division 1 South on Saturday.

Walton scored what proved to be the only goal of the afternoon against the run of play on 29 minutes. Matt Bourne (pictured) and Ashley Grant got in each other’s way and Kevin Lock took advantage to score past keeper Deren Ibrahim.

Sittingbourne nearly claimed a point 10 minutes from time when Joe Horlock’s goalbound shot was blocked.
