A 19-year-old is facing jail after she pleaded guilty to stabbing a teenage boy.
Leah Scantlebury will be sentenced after she admitted the attack in Commonwealth Close, off A2 Canterbury Road in Sittingbourne.
The stabbing happened around midnight on Thursday, February 27.
The victim was airlifted to a hospital in a stable condition.
A cordon remained in place for around 10 hours as officers investigated the scene.
Scantlebury was arrested the same day and charged with wounding with intent. She was also later charged with wounding without intent.
She first appeared in Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court the day after.
The case was passed onto Maidstone Crown Court, where she admitted wounding without intent on Friday, March 28.
Scantlebury will be sentenced at any point within a two-week period after May 19 at the same court.
The other charge has been given “lie on file” status after the prosecution asked for no further action to be taken.
