Woman pulled from overturned car in Lower Road, Teynham

A woman had to be freed from a car after being trapped in a crash.

Two fire engines were called to the scene and firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment to get her from the vehicle after it overturned in Lower Road in Teynham, near Sittingbourne.

Crews worked alongside paramedics to create space to allow assessment of the casualty's condition, before taking her to a waiting ambulance.

The incident happened this morning at around 7.45am.
