Emergency services were called to the A249, near Sittingbourne, at about 9.25pm last night.
A police spokesman said: "A woman is reported to have sustained serious injuries following a fall on the A249, between the Stockbury and Key Street roundabouts.
"Kent Police attended alongside South East Coast Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance Kent, Surrey, Sussex and the injured woman was taken to a London hospital, where she remains in a stable condition.
"There is no evidence of any third party involvement."
